I'm sorry that I didn't get my blog in yesterday. I was at my daughters college graduation. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling. An impressive task that I am so very proud of her for accomplishing. Watching her walk across the stage to receive her diploma, I thought back over the years. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting on the floor playing Barbie with her. I have to laugh at this. Here I was, a 'cool' 23 year old that thought he was all that, sitting in the floor being chastised by a three year old because the pants didn't match the shirt. LOL. (It's true tho... they didn't match) I still remember thinking I just got schooled by a three year old. How did the time go by so fast? It's the same with my son. This month he gets his license, but it feels like just yesterday I was giving him his first bottle. Or ridding one of them on my shoulders at the zoo.
I'm here to tell you the time goes by fast. If you young children now, it may feel like it's crawling by at a snails pace. But blink and your going to miss it. Make sure you spend time with your kids. Because it flash they will be gone. (On a side note... Don't go overboard with the kids. Make sure you are investing in your spouse. When the kids are gone, they are the ones that will still be with you.)
