Over the Top Advertising

Companies spend a lot of time and effort to make sure that their product or service is a household name. The goal is to make sure when you go to the store, you pick there stuff. Some of the more successful have become synonymous with the type of product that they sell. For example:

Who do you think of when I say:

Soda

Tissue

I would say that most of you said Coke or Pepsi for the first and Kleenex for the second. That's because they have spent a boat load of cash to get their product name imprinted on your brain.

I came across this ad from 3M for their bulletproof glass. Now I must say these guys have put their money where their mouth is.


This is supposed to be 3 million dollars behind their bullet proof glass. The tag line... If you break it, you keep it. I'm not sure why someone didn't just run into it with their car. 

Point is... the next time you need bullet proof glass... I bet you think of 3M... LOL.
