- Abduction by aliens. (However, I don't "feel" violated or probed, so this is unlikely)
- My body has slipped into some sort of time vortex, allowing time to move by at an accelerated rate. (Also unlikely since my wife indicates to me that I was hear doing nothing all day yesterday)
- This is in fact an elaborate joke being played on me and today is actually still Thursday the 24th. (Plausible, but I don't know who they talked to at the Internet to get them to switch the date.)
- This is fact a bad dream and I will wake up and realize that everything is okay. (Pinches self... OUCH... Nope not the case)
- A worm hole appeared and pulled me into an alternate universe that is one day ahead of where I'm from. (Well my wife doesn't have a beard and want to assassinate me to move up in rank, so also unlikely. My Star Trek friends will get this one.)
- I was knocked out and moved across the international date line and put in an EXACT replica of my house in a government study to see what I would do when I lost a day.
- I'm just getting old and forgot
Unfortunately the last is the most likely. Our normal Thursday routine was disrupted and by the time my wife and I got home, it was time for bed. So I apologize for my lapse. Have a good Friday and a great weekend.
