National Treasure

I must admit that I'm a sucker for conspiracy theories. I suppose it comes from my overactive imagination. I've spent time studying events like the Kennedy assassination or organizations like the Illuminati and secret bases like Area 51. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to these kinds of things. 

So it shouldn't come as a surprise that I really enjoyed the movie National Treasure staring Nicholas Cage. The movie is an embodiment of all that I love in a good conspiracy. Why am I talking about it now you ask? The movie has been out for several years you say. Yes, that is true, but it's on TV tonight.

So of course give the allegations in the movie, I've done a little digging. I didn't find much on a hidden map, but I did find some obscure facts about the Declaration of Independence. Here are a few of them -

A bargain hunter bought an original copy of the Declaration of Independence at a flea market for $4 and sold it for $8 million.

Richard Stockton was the only one that ever recanted his oath (after he was captured by the British)

Thomas Jefferson called Americans "subjects" but changed it to "citizens"

There is a hand print on the document. (No one is sure how it got there)

It was not written on paper or hemp. It was written on parchment. (basically treated animal skin)

It was penned with iron gall ink, which is made by combining fermented oak marble galls with ferrous sulfate.

Kinda cool huh?

Red's Conspiracy Blog

Today the world governments have perpetrated the largest cover-up since Roswell New Mexico's UFO crash in 1947. The would be leaders of this world would have us believe that a meteor struck near the Russian city of Chelyabinsk today.

I say the invasion from mars has in fact begun. The footage of the meteor shows it moving much to slow. Just like in the film War of the Worlds. I give you these two pictures as proof.

Hard to tell which is from the movie and which is real! I say again... prepare your self for the imminent invasion!

I INTERRUPT THIS REGULARLY SCHEDULED CRAZY FOR A BROADCAST -

SORRY... when I saw the video, I was instantly reminded of the scene from War of the Worlds. So I had to comment on its similarity.

On a REAL note. What an incredible event today (I don't mean that in a good way). Luckily the city was not hit directly. Even so, many people were hurt (from the blast wave caused when the meteor exploded) and now face sub zero temperatures with homes that can no longer hold heat because of the blown out glass. The last report I saw said some 3000 buildings were without windows.

So far I haven't heard of any fatalities. (That's a good thing) What I did find horrifying is that people were actually thought to be busting out their own windows in hope of some kind of compensation. (How ridiculous is that!) I hope that people keep their heads and work together to make this situation better and not worse. My heart goes out to the injured and I'm thankful it wasn't much worse.

Cosmic Coincidence OR Conspiracy

I was surfing around and came across a post about President Lincoln and President Kennedy. Now let me say that I have NOT verified this information. So please don't consider this fact until you do.

• Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
• Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
• Both were shot in the back of the head in the presence of their wives.
• Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
• Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
• Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
• Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
• Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
• Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theatre. Kennedy was shot in a Lincoln, made by Ford.
• Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran
• and hid in a theater.
• Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

So is it a conspiracy? Something along the lines of Area 51? Was this all orchestrated by the Illuminati??

Okay... had to laugh at that....  I will say it does makes a guy wonder a bit. 

I'll end today's post with another bit of useless information for your day. You never know, you could find yourself on a game show and they ask the question. It could happen.
