All you Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lost Boys, and multitude of other vampire shows, literature, and movie fans... listen up. Today is a special day for you, because today in 1897 an author started the vampire craze. Bram Stoker's Dracula released today (May 26th) all those years ago. By 1920, the book had been adopted by broadway and in 1931 the vampire was portrayed on film by the famous Bela Lugosi.
So all you vampire fans out there. Be sure to give a nod to the man who started it all for you today.
