Titanic II - No... Not Another Movie

Have you ever hear of Clive Palmer? I guarantee that you will. He's Australian mining billionaire and he's building an exact replica of the Titanic (Except it will have enough life boats). The new ship is scheduled to launch in 2016 and will be taking the same route out of Southampton, England to New York. She will carry 2,600 passengers and 900 crew.

Passengers will be given 1920's period costumes to wear for the cruise. While the ship will be a knock off of the original, she will have some modern amenities, such as air-conditioned cabins. Right now they are debating on TV's and Internet. Mr. Palmer is against the thought, citing that you should go on a vacation to relax...  Not stay plugged in. 

They haven't sent ticket prices yet, but a figure of one million dollars was evidently suggested. ( I hope that's first class and not the steerage rate )

Being a bit of a Titanic nut case, I look forward to seeing if Titanic II comes into her own, or is in fact tempting fate.
